Statement of Faith

Scripture Is Inspired

The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally and spiritually inspired of God. They are the revelation of God to man. The Scriptures are also the infallible, authoritative words of faith and rules of conduct. (2 Tim. 3: 15-17, 1 Thess. 2:13, 2 Pet. 1:21)

One True God

The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent “ I AM”. The Creator of heaven and earth. Giver of life and breath to man. He has further revealed Himself as the embodiment and association of relationship in Father, Son (Jesus Christ) and Holy Ghost. Scriptures declare and teach the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the eternal Son, co-Creator of all things. He was born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life. He gave His life and shed His blood upon the cross for the redemption of man. Buried and on the third day was raised by the power of God to give us hope of eternal life. Jesus has ascended and is now at the right hand of the Father. (Deu. 6:4, Is. 43:10 & 11, Mt. 28:9, Lk. 3:22)

Man's Transgression

Man was created good and upright before God. We are made in His image and after His likeness. Man voluntarily transgressed by his disobedience to God. This transgression brought both a physical and a spiritual separation from God the Father and death to himself. (Gen. 1:26 & 27, 2:17, 3:6, Rom 3:23)

Salvation

Mans’ only hope of restoring eternal relationship with God is through the shed BLOOD of Jesus Christ. Restoration (salvation) is received by personal faith placed in the grace of God and what Jesus did upon the cross. Man is justified by grace through faith and then has hope of eternal life. (Luke 24:49,  John 3:3, Rom. 6:23, 10:13-15, Eph. 2:8)

Baptism in the Holy Ghost

All believers have the privilege and opportunity to be endued with power by the Holy Ghost to live, witness, and make disciples. This power is given by God through the Holy Ghost and the initial evidence of this Baptism in the Holy Ghost is the speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. (Luke 24:49, Acts 1:4 & 8, 1 Cor. 12: 1-31)

Millennium

I believe in a pre-millennial resurrection (rapture). First for those that have fallen asleep, immediately with those who remain unto the coming of Jesus. Jesus will return again as promised, and set up His rule and reign for a thousand years on the earth. (Zech. 14:5, Mt. 24:27& 30, Rev. 1:7, 19:11-14, 20:1-6)

Final Judgment

After this 1000 year period of peace, there will be a loosening of the evil one. A great rebellion follows after which God declares an end to all. This will be what is called the Final Judgment. God will pronounce punishment for the wicked. The greatest of the punishments will be eternal separation from God the Father. All those who are sent to punishment will be cast into the Lake of Fire, even Death itself. (Mt. 25:46, Mk. 9:43-48, Rev 19:20, 20:11-15, 21:8)

Eternity

God has in waiting a new heaven and new earth. He has promised that we will be in an eternal place of His righteousness. Only the righteous and righteousness will exist; we will be eternally in His presence. We will be free to worship and serve Him in perfection eternally. (2 Pet. 3:13, Rev. 21, Rev. 22)
